Image Formats

Find all available Image-Formats here. All of these formats can be set up in the WordPress Gutenberg Editor. Block-Images in the Frontend are always responsive and will be “lazy-loaded” (if supported). That means, that the image will start loading when it comes to the view of the user. WordPress internally did not lazy-load image. To focus on Website Performance, WordPress is using a plugin called “Smush” This will compress images for a faster loading-time. Try to avoid to upload “really” big images. These three things make sure to deliver the best possible experience to the user.
